The idea of this democracy Audit is to measure the state of democracy in as many countries as possible (stating with the countries where MS Danish association for international co-operation operates.
The democracy audit aims to generate and facilitate debate about democracy and to create public awareness about democracy, paying special attention to how democracy involves and works for poor people.
