Summary of issues covered/discussed:

-There should be the communication integration between the Trade unions of the two regions i.e. Latin America and the Africa through the intellectuals coming together and talking about their problems and find way forward to them.

-They are asking for financial support from the IMF and the World Bank. In this way they will be able to come up with objectives, rules and recommendations in order to enable them perform and for the implementation of the same.

-There should be the encouragement to the local producers from both the regions, that's Latin America, and Africa for the production of not only goods for their use locally but also for export which will be used as a tool for poverty eradication.


RECOMMENDATIONS FROM THE ACTIVITY:

The alternative information is currently working on a proposal that will be discussed in the next conference. This will ensure that there is one understanding between the trade unions from both regions.
