I got to know of online social collaboration tools  commonly refered to as Web 2.0 during the African Women Electronic Network Training (WENT) in 2005. I was I  amazed by the ease with which  the pages can be created, changed, linked and instantly published on the internet with out using hyper text mark up language.

After this training, I developed a passion and desire to learn more of these interesting tools especially the wikis and blogs.I have  interacted with different blog and wiki platforms and I found them all interesting.

I am called Loyce Kyogabirwe, a librarian by Profession, working with Isis Women's International Cross Cultural Exchange[1]. An International women's human rights organisation that exist to promote cross-cultural exchange of skills and information to contribute towards women's transformation through documenting violations of women's rights.

I got to know of online social collaboration tools   commonly refered to as Web 2.0 during the African Women Electronic Network Training (WENT) in 2005. I was I  amazed by the ease with which   the pages can be created, changed, linked and instantly published on the internet with out using hyper text mark up language. 

After this training, I developed a passion and desire to learn more of these interesting tools especially the wikis and blogs.I have interacted with different blog and wiki platforms and I found them all interesting.
