Debt is a dimension of poverty. Debt makes governance to become difficult since no right to decide.
Countries in the south are paying the debt which is causing great harm to their people. Most of the social services are sacrificed for the sake of servicing the debt. Debt are being paid for loans that meant to guard against the, destruction of the environment , propping up military dictatorship pocketed by corrupt officials and earned unscrupulous interests rates. Debt strengthens poverty and avoids good governance, hence we should stop paying debt, for our development.
