Summary of key issues discussed:

Dakahuma,s youth initiative was formed in 2004 by a collaboration of up coming artists groups from Dandora Kariobangi,Haruma,Mathare estates.The group use participatory education theatre to sensitize the community on the issues that are touchimg for instance rape,HIV test,child abuse,drug abuse and early pregnancy. The organisation does it.s work through the following programmes

1.Outreach

2.Sports /Social events,Education

3.Exhibition

4.Miss haruma beauty pageant

5.Peer Education

However,Dakahuma believes in self reliance towards realizing it's goals and objectives by offering services such as design and print information education and communication material, consultance services in the field of drugs and substance abuse etc.
