Who are the "we" of the WSF Library project? The WSF itself has not authorized the project. How could it have authotized this project? The WSF is just an open space for conferencing and conversation. It does not take decisions. The International Council (IC) of the WSF could of course have given the WSF Library project some kind of support. But it has not. The supporters of this project are an undefined, probably still tiny, group of WSF-goers and librarians, spread over various continents...
