Description:

Discussion between activists, librarians, archivists and documentalists about the problems of information sharing and keeping with regard to the WSF.

Two aspects will be discussed:

• The role of documentation in the process of the WSF

Mikael Book (Network Institute for Global Democratization)

• Can we find documentation on the WSF in the future?

Huub Sanders (International Institute of Social History)

We hope to have a discussion on the importance of documentation in the WSF and to raise the awareness of the vulnerability of documents and documentation in social movements. We think that librarians and archivists have a responsibility for the WSF process as well as for its heritage.
